Get your hands on this serviced vintage Seiko 5 Actus 6106-7580 from 1972 with gradient grey-brown sunburst dial, English/Kanji day-date, new crystal and 3-month functionality guarantee.
Model History:
The Actus collection formed part of Seiko’s broad expansion of stylish automatic watches for the Japanese domestic market during the late 1960s and 1970s. Positioned as a youthful and design-conscious branch of the Seiko 5 family, Actus models were distinguished by contemporary case shapes, colourful or textured dials and prominent applied markers.
Reference 6106-7580 is an especially expressive example of this period. Its angular stainless-steel case, dramatic raised indices and gradient dial reflect the bold aesthetic that made early-1970s Seiko watches so recognisable. Inside is the 25-jewel calibre 6106, a robust automatic movement with central seconds and a bilingual day-date display.
Specifications:
• Brand: Seiko
• Model: Seiko 5 Actus
• Reference: 6106-7580
• Serial number: 298290
• Production date: September 1972
• Movement: Seiko calibre 6106 automatic, day-date
• Day display: English and Kanji
• Case material: Stainless steel
• Case diameter: Approximately 38 mm
• Lug-to-lug: Approximately 41 mm
• Lug width: 18 mm
• Dial: Grey-brown gradient sunburst dial with natural vintage patina
• Crystal: New, scratch-free
• Strap: New black leather strap

Condition:
The watch is in attractive overall vintage condition. The stainless-steel case retains its characteristic angular shape and contrasting brushed and polished surfaces, with scratches, small marks and general wear consistent with its age.
The original dial displays a striking graduated finish that transitions from a warm bronze-grey centre to a darker brown outer section. Natural age-related patina, spotting and surface marks are visible, giving the watch an authentic vintage appearance. The applied geometric hour markers remain complete and create considerable depth around the dial. The hands show visible ageing and deterioration to the luminous material, which should be considered part of the watch’s vintage condition.
The new crystal is clean and scratch-free, and the watch is fitted with a new black leather strap. The automatic movement has been freshly serviced, and the timekeeping, day and date functions operate correctly. A 3-month functionality guarantee is included.
I aim to capture the condition of the watch accurately. Please make sure to review the pictures closely before bidding.
The watch has been completely serviced by a professional watchmaker and tested for full functionality. The water resistance of the watch cannot be guaranteed.
