Vintage Brandsohn "exclusive" lighter - Fahrschule H. Pfeffer - Gold plated - West Germany - 1960s

Description:
A very rare and elegant mechanical pocket lighter, produced by the German brand Brandsohn, being the top model in their range, called "exclusive". The piece was customized as a premium advertising object for a Bavarian driving school (Fahrschule H. Pfeffer, Neufahrn), dating back to the 1960s-1970s.

Mechanism and Fuel: Classic mechanical ignition system with sliding flap and flint wheel, operating on petrol (oil). Important note: The lighter is functional, the flap slides freely, but due to safety regulations for transport and storage, it is not filled with petrol.

Markings and Authenticity: The original "Brandsohn" brand is clearly stamped on the gold sole, along with the brand logo (the three bears), the "exclusive" range name and the original power screw.

Design and Details: Elegant body covered in dark green textured leather. The historical advertising inscription on the front is perfectly preserved, being embossed in shiny gold letters. The mechanical upper part and the contour frames have a shiny gold-plated finish.

Aesthetic and technical condition (As per photo): In remarkable vintage visual condition, very clean and extremely well preserved. The inner cotton wick shows normal traces of previous use (it is slightly blackened), but is fully functional and intact. The gold metallic layer and the leather cover show no deep scratches, dents or peeling
