We spent 12 hours addressing its structural integrity and cleaning decades of wear, followed by 4 hours of precise sanding to reveal its deep, rich wood grain. To honor its organic nature, we applied 4 coats of pure Tung Oil over 7 hours of meticulous finish work, ensuring a smooth, velvet patina that emphasizes the wood’s dark, smoky, chocolate-and-mahogany undertones.

Its design language is delightfully subtle: cleanly joined corners and varying shelf heights accommodate anything from vinyl box sets to art books. The ultimate signature twist lies at its very foundation—a hidden, recessed geometric base finished in a warm, muted yellow mustard tone. This tiny splash of color acts as an anchor, giving the heavy, majestic wood frame a lightweight, slightly floating modernist aesthetic.
