A captivating work in which the artist, living the period of the historical avant-gardes, fuses color influences typical of Post-Impressionism with a subject that recalls scenes of Symbolism, in a personal style that remains firmly anchored to his academic training.
In generally good condition: no conservation issues evident, the painting is presented on the original canvas and does not require interventions: under Wood lamp no retouchings emerge.
Within a beautiful gilded wooden frame, with a profile and relief decorations in Baroque motifs, but contemporary to the painting in construction, dimensions cm.71x87x8.
