Vintage Japanese Men's Tsumugi Kimono & Haori Ensemble with Decorative Warrior Lining

This elegant vintage Japanese men's kimono and haori ensemble is crafted from what appears to be tsumugi silk, featuring a refined dark navy color with a subtle woven texture. While the exact production area cannot be confirmed, the fabric exhibits the distinctive appearance and character of traditional tsumugi weaving.

The highlight of this set is the haori lining, which features a striking depiction of a Japanese warrior in elaborate armor. The artwork appears to be finely executed, although it cannot be confirmed whether it is entirely hand-painted or produced using another traditional decorative technique.

The kimono and haori maintain an understated exterior while revealing an impressive hidden design, a hallmark of traditional Japanese men's formal and semi-formal attire.

According to the previous owner, there are light stains on the kimono collar and on both sleeves of the haori. Aside from these minor signs of wear, the ensemble remains in very good vintage condition. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
