卖家的描述
Period : Goryeo Dynasty,Korea(918 - 1392) / 12-13C
Size : H10.9cm W9cm
Weight : 395
A brush stand made in the middle of the Goryeo Dynasty.
The body is cylindrical and extends straight upward, forming the shape of five petals.
The odd number is Goryeo culture.
Each petal is bordered with grooves to accentuate the outline.
It has 3 legs and has a wavy design with grooves that make it look like a leaf.
There is a potter's wheel on the bottom, but the kiln of Goryeo is considered to be a structure to prevent cracking due to the low temperature.
This is the kind of construction seen in Black Goryeo ware.
There are traces of stone marks on the legs, and the entire body is covered with an iron glaze, giving it a brownish color.
The shade of the glaze accentuates the rim, grooves, and potter's wheel stitches, giving it more presence.
There is aged deterioration on the overall surface. There are chips and cracks near the hole of the leg, but it is a scratch made during firing. There is one spot on the leg that has surface peeling.
Shipping method
We will ship by EMS.
The item will be wrapped in cloth, placed in a hard box, and then further packed in a cardboard box for shipping.
