It is from this spiritual authority that the Saint Benedict medal was born, engraved with Latin formulas from ancient exorcisms, including “Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux” (May the Sacred Cross be my light) and “Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux” (May the dragon not be my guide).
