一组风格各异、极具魅力的复古 Kokeshi 木娃娃 - 山茱萸 - Multiple artists - 日本 - Shōwa period (1926-1989)

一组惊艳的六点木地玩偶，全部精美老化，保持着极佳的复古状态。
Kokeshi originated from the early 1800s when woodworkers would use small spare pieces of wood to make toy dolls for their children. The shape of the doll and the circular decoration are made on a lathe, the head is later fitted and the rest of the details are hand painted.
Kokeshi起源于19世纪早期，当时木匠会用小块多余的木材为自己的孩子做木偶玩具。木偶的形状和圆形装饰是在车床上完成的，头部随后安装，其余细节则手工绘制。

When these dolls caught the eye of travellers the woodworkers started making them as souvenirs, each region spawned their own unique style in shapes, colours and types of decorations.

We estimate that these dolls were made in the late 1960s and early 1970s

They are all signed by their respective artists and in great shape for their age.

The largest doll is 31 cm tall, the others range between 27 and 24 cm.
