卖家的描述
With this square-format work, Medsan delivers a magistral reinterpretation of one of cinema's most influential science-fiction works, transposed into the aesthetics of Edo-period Japan. This giclée features a classic samurai whose appearance and surroundings are pirated by the visual codes emblematic of the Matrix franchise.
The anachronism is meticulously constructed: the character, dressed in a traditional blue kimono adorned with kamon (familial crests), wears the iconic round, dark sunglasses. In his right hand, he consults a book or ledger whose dark pages appear to be threaded with lines of code. His left hand draws a katana whose blade has transformed into a beam of incandescent green energy, disintegrating into luminous points. The Matrix illusion is completed by a burgundy background from which the famous “digital rain” runs, here faithfully recreated with chains of green katakana suspended in space.
The impact of the work rests on this accomplished fusion between ukiyo-e art and cyberpunk aesthetics. The color treatment, blending the neon green of computer code with the desaturated hues of traditional clothing, creates a striking visual depth. The classic cartouche in the upper right, containing the signature "Medsan" (メドサン), anchors this temporal anomaly within the tradition of Japanese prints.
An essential and bold piece, offering a reflection on reality and illusion, ideal for adding a cinematic, geeky, and decisively contemporary dimension to interior decoration.

About the Atelier:
Atelier Joconde is a collective of artists united around a living and plural contemporary creation. Established as a genuine hub of artistic production, the studio operates both in collective creation and in individual approaches, depending on projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family venture. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective work with cinematic and realistic influences. Beside him, Medsan, oriented towards pop art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo engages in a more instinctive pursuit, blending abstract art, brut art, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, realized, and monitored within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and a distinct identity for each artist.
