Hutian Kiln Yingqing Glazed Bowl

Description:

Wide mouth, curved walls, and ring foot. The entire body is covered in a thick, lustrous, jade-like celadon glaze. The rim is unglazed, forming a "rough rim". The exterior is plain, with a printed floral design in the center.

This piece dates back to the Northern Song Dynasty, approximately 960-1127 AD, and was made by Chinese hands. The materials and exposed clay reveal the material and production date.

Condition:

Good condition, with signs of use. There are two dark cracks on the rim, otherwise intact, without debris or signs of repair. It produces a clear, resonant sound when tapped. It has been examined with strong UV light. (Please refer to the photos if the text is not clear enough.)
