卖家的描述
Item Description
蒔絵小箪笥 Makie Kodansu (Small Chest of Drawers) 関雲 Sekiun — 昭和時代 Showa period (1926–1989)
A two-drawer lacquer kodansu in deep black lacquer, decorated with makie (金蒔絵) depicting peonies and flowering branches in gold, vermillion, and brown. The charming floral design — with softly coloured blossoms and elegantly spreading branches — flows across both drawer fronts in a single composition. Gold makie catches the light against the lustrous black lacquer ground, lending the piece a quiet brilliance that is characteristic of skilled Showa-period craftsmanship. Made from natural wood. The artist's seal reading "Sekiun" (関雲) is impressed in red at the lower left of the front panel. Both drawers open and close smoothly.

Height: 14.5 cm
