Vintage Beni Ouarain rug hand-knotted by the weavers of the Moroccan Middle Atlas, in the grand tradition of Berber rugs in black and white, timeless and sought-after.
On an ivory, woolly and soft background unfolds a vast network of black diamonds, filled with a fine cross-hatched grid that gives them depth and relief. The composition comes alive with dispersed Berber motifs, six-pointed stars and small traditional symbols, which bring a touch of soul and story to this pared-down graphic design. The strong contrast of black on ivory, signature of Beni Ouarain, gives the piece an elegant graphic quality that harmonizes particularly well with minimalist, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors, while preserving its Berber authenticity.
Fringe finishes at the ends.
