2020 Tua Rita “Redigaffi” – Toscana IGT – 1 Magnum (1.5 L) Original Wooden Case

An exceptional lot comprising a Magnum bottle of Tua Rita Redigaffi 2020, accompanied by the wooden case shown in the photographs.

Redigaffi is Tua Rita’s flagship wine and one of the most internationally recognised Italian cult wines. Produced in Suvereto, on the Tuscan coast, it is made exclusively from 100% Merlot, grown on predominantly clay soils. Its name derives from a small stream that runs alongside the estate.

Redigaffi achieved international cult status when the 2000 vintage was awarded 100/100 points by Robert Parker upon its release, making it one of the first Italian wines to receive this distinction and the first to score 100 points on release.

The vintage received 97 points from Falstaff, 96 from Wine Advocate, 96 from James Suckling, 96 from Wine Enthusiast, 95 from Wine Spectator, 95 from Decanter and 94 from Vinous.

The 1.5-litre Magnum format is particularly sought after by collectors and allows the wine to develop more slowly and harmoniously. The bottle and wooden box are exactly as shown in the photographs, which form an integral part of the lot description.
