This painting presents a lush grove that extends horizontally before a broad grassy terrain. The composition is dominated by an extraordinary variety of greens, from lighter, brighter tones to deep hues approaching black. The scene conveys an immediate sense of freshness, serenity and direct contact with nature, as if the viewer stood before the forest on a tranquil spring day.

The vegetation occupies almost the entire surface and forms a large living mass in which the trees seem to grow very close to one another. Their canopies intertwine and create a continuous visual line that runs across the work from one edge to the other. Despite this density, each specimen maintains its own presence thanks to changes in height, brightness and color that distinguish one silhouette from another.

The trees feature slender, relatively light trunks, some slightly inclined or partially hidden by the foliage. Their verticality provides structure to the composition and contrasts with the horizontal extension of the meadow. These pale lines appear and disappear among the leaves, creating a visual rhythm that allows one to slowly traverse the depth of the grove.

In the central area several taller trees rise, whose canopies protrude over the ensemble and softly break the regularity of the vegetal horizon. Their presence adds dynamism and turns the forest into an organic formation, away from any rigid symmetry. The trees at the ends, slightly shorter, help focus the gaze on this central part.

The foliage is composed of a great richness of small color variations.
