Artist’s Description (Chinese)

Bloodline N1 is an exploration of the invisible boundary between silence and intensity. A single crimson line cuts through an immense black surface, becoming a pulse of life within the darkness. It may be read as a horizon, a scar, a connection or a point of no return, leaving its meaning entirely open to the viewer.

Far from being a flat black painting, the surface is composed of multiple layers, rich textures and carefully applied finishes that create remarkable depth. As the light changes throughout the day, or as the artwork is displayed in different spaces, the piece continually transforms. Depending on the viewing angle and the surrounding environment, subtle reflections, deep satin tones and delicate highlights emerge, revealing details that remain hidden under different lighting conditions.

This constant interaction with light makes Bloodline N1 a living artwork. It never appears exactly the same twice, inviting the viewer to rediscover it over time.

Its minimalist composition is intentionally balanced with a strong emotional presence, allowing each observer to project their own memories, emotions and experiences onto the work.

Bloodline N1 es una exploración de la frontera invisible entre el silencio y la intensidad. Una única línea carmesí atraviesa una inmensa superficie negra y se convierte en un pulso de vida dentro de la oscuridad. Puede interpretarse como un horizonte, una cicatriz, un vínculo o un punto de no retorno, dejando su significado completamente abierto a la mirada de quien la contempla.

Lejos de ser un negro uniforme, la superficie está construida mediante múltiples capas, texturas y acabados cuidadosamente trabajados que aportan una extraordinaria profundidad visual. A medida que cambia la luz a lo largo del día o la obra ocupa un espacio diferente, su aspecto se transforma continuamente. Según el ángulo desde el que se observe y la iluminación natural o artificial que reciba, aparecen reflejos, brillos y matices distintos que revelan nuevas tonalidades y detalles ocultos.
