Original car description:

AUDI introduced the 2006 TT Roadster as the open-top sibling of its redesigned compact sports car, adding sharper styling and a more mature platform.
From its profile, the 2006 AUDI TT Roadster looked like a natural evolution of the first generation.

The arched roofline of the Coupe was replaced by a compact fabric soft top, giving the car a more geometric appearance when closed and a cleaner roadster silhouette when lowered. The rising dynamic line above the side sills and the muscular shoulder line created a stronger sense of forward motion. As before, the aluminum-look fuel filler cap above the right rear wheel remained one of the model's signature details.

Under the hood, the 2006 Audi TT Roadster started its career with two gasoline engines.
The 2.0 TFSI turbocharged inline-four delivered 200 PS/197 hp and sent power to the front wheels. The 3.2-liter VR6 produced 250 PS/247 hp and came with quattro all-wheel drive as standard. Both engines were offered with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic.
