Elegant crystal-cut and-gold perfume bottle, produced by the prestigious Baccarat manufacture, from the “Nancy Décorée” trim, series D.5241, and listed in the 1916 catalog under reference T943 n°1. Intended for toilette necessaries and elegant vanity trim from the early 20th century, this model perfectly illustrates Baccarat's refinement during the Belle Époque. Its geometric décor, enhanced by gilded fillets, combines architectural sobriety with discreet luxury, already anticipating the cleaner lines that would dominate in the following years.

The bottle adopts a cylindrical shape with harmonious proportions. Its decoration consists of a lower part finely cut with a regular grid pattern topped by long vertical flutes that slenderly elongate the silhouette. The gently curved shoulder leads to a faceted neck crowned by a wide gold-rimmed collar. The original stopper, perfectly matched, is adorned with a spherical multi-faceted knob that admirably captures the light and elegantly completes the ensemble. The two gilded fillets, applied by hand on the collar and on the bottle’s shoulder, retain remarkable freshness and delicately emphasize the model’s lines.

The piece is presented in good condition. The gildings remain particularly well preserved, retaining a beautiful sheen. The stopper is in good condition and fits correctly to the bottle neck. At the inner base of the stopper there are several internal cooling hairlines, characteristic of the manufacturing process during crystal cooling. These are internal tensions and not absence, chipping or fractures, and do not affect either the overall presentation or the stability of the piece. Some light signs of use, consistent with age, may be observed.
