Painter of the late Edo and Meiji periods.
Born in Kyoto.
Grandson of Ganku, second son of Gantai.
His real family name is Saeki. His first name is Mochitoyo.
His nickname was Shitei. His aliases are Seppo, Unpo, Hokuho, and Hakuunkan.
He was called Kishioji Sakon Shogen.
He died in 1883 at the age of 68.
