Up for sale is a rare multiple part sheet formation consisting of 8 identical souvenir sheets completely connected in their original printer state. Issued in 1949 to celebrate the centenary of the first French postage stamp, each section contains 10 stamps of 10 Francs printed in vermilion red. Each component is listed in the Michel catalogue as Block 4 and in Yvert as Bloc 5.

This unique item retains its full top and bottom sheet margins with complete outer perforations, while the outermost left and right edges are trimmed. The entire piece is in flawless Mint Never Hinged MNH condition with 100 percent full original gum on the reverse side. The gum is pristine and unmounted with no hinge marks, no disturbances, and no creases. Colors are exceptionally fresh and vivid.
