- USA - MNH. Picture 1 - Cinderella stamps, specifically WWII propaganda poster labels issued around 1942–1943 by a non-profit organization called the Council Against Intolerance in America. They were active during the 1930s and 1940s to promote national unity and combat domestic prejudice during the war. These stamps were meant to be applied to the back of envelopes, letters, or packages to boost morale and spread patriotic propaganda. The artwork features an eagle and a banner reading "Bill of Rights" alongside the slogan "United, We Conquer", symbolizing national strength through the defence of constitutional liberties.

Picture 6 - This is a 1937 U.S. Postage souvenir sheet celebrating the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
It was issued for the 43rd annual convention of the Society of Philatelic Americans in Asheville, N.C.

Picture 7 - This is a 1956 souvenir sheet, commemorating the 5th International Philatelic Exhibition in New York City. It features two imperforate stamps—a 3-cent and an 8-cent Statue of Liberty—and bears the signature of the Postmaster General of the United States. The sheet was produced specifically for collectors and highlights the "stamp on stamp" theme with the exhibition date and location listed at the bottom.

Picture 8 - This is a philatelic exhibition seal, often referred to as a "cinderella" stamp, designed for the Third American Philatelic Congress held in 1937 at the Hotel LaSalle in Chicago. It is attributed to the designer Henry Grimsland, whose name appears in the lower right corner of the design. The imagery includes a central eagle emblem with the words "Chicago Philatelic Society".

Picture 9 - This is a vintage philatelic exhibition seal or poster stamp from the 1937 Chicago Stamp Exhibition held at the Hotel La Salle. The design was created by artist Henry Grimsland, known for designing various philatelic seals during the 1930s-1950s. The central emblem features the text "Chicago Philatelic Society".

Postal Services:
Following a recent change in international sector regulations, Articles 18 and 19 of the Universal Postal Convention, from January 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to send items (goods with or without commercial value) using International Registered and International Insured services, which will be used exclusively for sending documents.
As the designated provider of the universal postal service in the Irish State, An Post must adhere to the international regulations set by the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
Here is how these changes affect users sending items:
Ban on Goods in Registered Mail:
Under this UPU convention amendment, international registered letters and declared-value letters can only contain correspondence or documents (e.g., photos, invitations).
• The Impact: Customers can no longer send merchandise, trading cards, or other goods internationally using Registered Mail or Insured Letter services.
• What to use instead: To send small parcels containing goods internationally with tracking or signature confirmation, customers are advised by the UPU to use Parcel Post or Courier/EMS services.
In Ireland, using international courier services is generally very costly and rarely worth the charge compared to the value of items (in this case usually stamps) so it means that in 2026, along with other sellers, I will ship abroad starting from €23 without insurance via "An Post Standard International Post" (then upwards after that). The security of the items via general post is a risk for both the buyer and the seller, and must be acknowledged by both parties, as items cannot be insured any longer. If the item is large, heavy and of significant value I will use a courier service then, and apply the postal costs associated with that auction accordingly.
