This bronze vase from Takaoka Copperware showcases a striking marbled patina that shifts from deep blue to pale blue and gold depending on the angle of light, giving the surface a mesmerizing, ever-changing quality. The form tapers elegantly from a slender neck to a broad, rounded body, combining refined proportions with substantial weight and presence. Takaoka Copperware carries a tradition of roughly 400 years originating in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, and was designated a National Traditional Craft in 1975.
