卖家的描述
### Material & Inclusions
Authentic Baltic amber with a bright golden honey tone, carefully polished to showcase a beautifully preserved **CRANE FLY** (family Tipulidae). The insect displays exceptionally long segmented legs, elongated bead-like antennae, a slender segmented abdomen, and delicate transparent wings with clearly visible venation. Its three-dimensional position allows many anatomical details to be appreciated from multiple angles. Fine organic debris, natural resin flow lines, and numerous microscopic air bubbles surround the inclusion, enhancing both its visual depth and confirming the amber's natural origin. A tiny secondary organic inclusion is also visible near the edge of the pendant.
### Craftsmanship & Presentation
Expertly shaped into a smooth freeform cabochon with a high-gloss polish that maximizes clarity and the visibility of the fossil inclusion. The pendant is fitted with a durable 925 sterling silver bail, creating a timeless design that highlights the remarkable prehistoric specimen. An outstanding choice for fossil collectors, entomologists, natural history enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a truly unique piece of wearable history.
### UV Testing & Fluorescence
Glows with the characteristic blue-green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, confirming genuine Baltic amber origin. No enhancements, dyes, or synthetic materials — the piece is entirely natural and untreated.
### Pendant Dimensions
Approximately 14 × 8.5 × 7 mm (including bail).
### Geological Origin
Age: approximately 35–50 million years
Epoch: Eocene
Region: Baltic Sea area — internationally renowned for producing amber with exceptionally preserved prehistoric life.
### Condition & Authenticity
This is a one-of-a-kind specimen of natural Baltic amber containing a genuine **CRANE FLY** preserved with remarkable anatomical detail.
