Detailed Description
The Minase Seven Windows Power Reserve Date Ref. VY01-K07G is a remarkable example of Japanese independent watchmaking, combining innovative engineering with exceptional hand-finishing. Manufactured by Minase, a luxury watch brand created by Kyowa Co., Ltd. in Japan, this model is renowned for its unique "Seven Windows" architecture, allowing the dial and movement to be viewed through multiple sapphire windows integrated into the case.
The watch features a 37 mm stainless steel case (excluding the crown) with Minase's signature case-in-case construction. The case is finished using the traditional Sallaz (Zaratsu) polishing technique, creating an exceptional contrast between mirror-polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The multi-dimensional grey dial incorporates applied Roman numeral hour markers, luminous hands, a retrograde date display, and a power reserve indicator, giving the watch a distinctive architectural appearance.
Powering the watch is the Minase KT7001 automatic movement, developed from the reliable Swiss ETA architecture and refined by Minase with high-grade finishing. The beautifully decorated movement is visible through the sapphire exhibition case back.
This example is offered in used condition. The stainless steel case shows light surface scratches and normal signs of careful wear consistent with age and regular use. The crystal remains in good overall condition, and all visible cosmetic details are shown in the accompanying photographs.
Please note that the blue leather strap and the stainless steel buckle are aftermarket replacements and are not original Minase accessories.
The sale includes the watch only. No original box, warranty card, papers, or additional accessories are included.
As with all pre-owned mechanical watches, water resistance has not been tested and therefore cannot be guaranteed. Future servicing requirements and long-term accuracy are not guaranteed.
