Celadon-glazed floral-shaped bowl

Description:

This bowl has an everted floral rim, a folded waist, a flat interior, and a ring foot. It is entirely covered in a celadon glaze, with the unglazed base facilitating firing. The exterior is plain, while the interior is decorated with three groups of incised floral patterns. The flowers are full and arranged in the same direction around the center of the bowl, creating a harmonious and symmetrical composition with a spacious and orderly layout, demonstrating the superb artistic expression of the ancients.

This piece dates back to the Song Dynasty, approximately 960-1279 AD, and was made by Chinese hands. The materials used and the unglazed areas indicate its material and production date.

Condition:

Good condition, with signs of use. A chipped rim has been meticulously repaired with kintsugi (gold repair). It produces a clear, resonant sound when tapped. It has been examined using a strong UV filter. (Please see photos if the text is unclear.)
