卖家的描述
Item Description
Takaoka Copperware (高冈铜器) Crane-Neck (鹤颈) Vase with Marbled Vermillion Patina and Gold Accents
This cast bronze vase from the Takaoka Copperware tradition features a striking marbled patina, where vermillion red and grey tones blend and shift across the surface. A fine gold overlay (金彩) catches the light differently depending on the viewing angle, giving the piece a distinctive, ever-changing appearance rather than a flat, uniform finish.
The vase is shaped in a crane-neck silhouette, with a slender neck rising from a full, rounded body. The form has a quiet elegance, equally suited as a display piece or as a vase for ikebana.
Takaoka Copperware is a traditional craft with roughly 400 years of history centered in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, and was designated a National Traditional Craft in 1975.
Size
Height: 21.5 cm
Diameter: 8 cm
Weight: 306 g
