A beautiful and complete vintage Ertel-Werk München BNA/INA Automatic Surveying Level, manufactured in Germany around 1955. Produced by the renowned precision instrument maker Ertel & Sohn (founded in 1802), this professional optical level was designed for surveying, engineering and construction work.

The instrument features an automatic compensator (Selbsteinwägung) for self-leveling, a precision optical telescope, focusing eyepiece and a 360° graduated horizontal circle. It also retains its original De Koningh N.V. Arnhem retailer plaque, adding an attractive Dutch historical connection.

Offered complete with its original stitched leather carrying case and the original German factory instruction leaflet.
