Vintage Dahle No. 22 Bakelite Mechanical Pencil Sharpener – Germany / US-Zone (1945–1949)

A rare and highly collectible example of post-war industrial design. This authentic Dahle No. 22 mechanical pencil sharpener features a striking oxblood-red Bakelite body with beautiful marbled swirls and its original internal sharpening mechanism.
The molded "Germany / US-Zone" marking dates production to the short Allied occupation period between 1945 and 1949, making this an appealing historical object as well as a functional desk accessory. An excellent addition to any collection of vintage office equipment, Bakelite objects, or post-war German design.

Condition
