卖家的描述
Introduction
This elegant vintage Longines ladies’ wristwatch is estimated to date from the 1970s. It features a refined champagne-coloured dial, applied baton hour markers and a slim 18K gold-plated case.
The simple two-hand display, compact 22.6 mm case and gently curved lugs create a graceful dress-watch profile. A new black leather strap has been fitted, making the watch ready to wear.
Historical & Collector Value
Longines is one of Switzerland’s long-established watch manufacturers, recognised for its elegant designs and traditional mechanical watchmaking.
This watch is powered by the manually wound Longines Calibre 817.4. Its compact dimensions, signed crown, signed movement and restrained dial design are characteristic of vintage Longines ladies’ dress watches from the period.
Smaller mechanical watches were often worn as refined jewellery pieces, and surviving examples with their original branded movement and reference markings are increasingly appreciated by collectors of vintage Swiss watches.
The production period is estimated as circa the 1970s. An exact production or delivery date can only be confirmed through the Longines archives.
