The rocky shoreline beneath is richly planted with peonies 牡丹 (botan) in shades of deep red and soft pink, growing amongst moss-covered rocks and Japanese dwarf bamboo 笹 (sasa). A pair of ducks glide across the tranquil water while another descends in flight above them. On the opposite shore, withered reeds stretch over a rocky outcrop where a pair of small birds perch. Large drifting clouds of dense and sprinkled gold frame the tranquil landscape.
