Delft Chinoiserie vases represent a historic artistic fusion where 17th and 18th-century Dutch earthenware craftsmen replicated and adapted exotic Chinese porcelain designs. When Chinese imports ceased during domestic turmoil in the mid-17th century, Dutch potters in Delft filled the void by producing tin-glazed pottery adorned with Asian figures, landscapes, exotic birds, and flora.
