Description:
Elegant vintage Omega wristwatch from circa 1960, reference 14391 featuring a classic stainless steel case and a manually wound mechanical movement.
The watch has an attractive restored green dial with a subtle textured finish, gold-tone applied baton hour markers, matching dauphine-style hands and a small-seconds sub-dial positioned at 6 o’clock. The restored green colour gives the watch a distinctive and elegant appearance while preserving its classic vintage character.
It is powered by the Omega Calibre 266, a 17-jewel manual-winding mechanical movement. This well-known Omega movement is appreciated by collectors for its traditional construction and reliability.
The inside of the caseback is signed Omega Watch Co., Fab. Suisse, Swiss Made and displays the reference 2891-2.
The stainless steel case shows scratches, marks and signs of previous use consistent with the age of the watch. The caseback and inner case edges also show visible age-related marks. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
The watch is fitted with a brown aftermarket leather strap that complements the green and gold-tone dial.
The manual-winding movement is currently working, including the small-seconds function. However, as with all vintage watches, long-term accuracy, power reserve and water resistance are not guaranteed unless otherwise recently serviced. The service history is unknown.
A stylish and distinctive vintage Omega, suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of classic Swiss mechanical watches.
