About the artist...

Quiona Ribes is a urban artist born in Spain in 1987. It was in Valencia where her interest in urban art was born and she conducts pictorial experiments inspired by street art and painters from the late 20th century. This is how she begins to develop her own style.
Subsequently she moves to Barcelona to continue her studies in architecture, but a year later she decides to set aside the profession of architect and thus study Arts Applied to the Wall and later graduate in Art History.

Her initially impressionist work now offers a singular and attractive vision where she often uses a poetic language related to current events, the history of art and graffiti. She is known for her works made with the urban technique of ‘stencil’ and began to be inspired by artists of the scene such as Banksy, Martin Whatson, Keith Haring, Pichiavo, Okuda, Mr.Brainwash, Vhils and others, as well as classical figures like Leonardo da Vinci, El Greco or Velázquez.
In recent years she has focused on urban art, which has allowed her to become today one of the leading women in the sector.
