A charming and well-preserved Gama Swiss vintage wristwatch from the late 1940s. Gama was one of the many respected Swiss manufacturers that produced reliable mechanical watches during the golden age of Swiss watchmaking, often using high-quality ébauches from leading movement makers.

This example is powered by the renowned A. Schild (AS) Caliber 1287, a robust 17-jewel manual-wind movement introduced in the late 1940s. The AS 1287 is appreciated by collectors for its durable construction, direct center seconds, Incabloc shock protection, and dependable long-term serviceability.
The watch features an elegant warm champagne dial with applied Arabic numerals and triangular hour markers. The original Gama logo stands out beautifully, giving the watch excellent vintage character. The dial displays an attractive natural patina consistent with its age, while the gold-plated case retains its original vintage finish without polishing.
