Schu (b. 1976, Germany) is a contemporary figurative artist whose work is centered on the world of wild animals. His drawings go beyond faithfully capturing their physical appearance. Equally important to him is conveying the animal's presence, along with the quiet strength and calm that radiate from it.
For many years, he has refined his realistic pencil drawing technique, using the medium to render light, texture, and the finest details with precision.
