Flit Animation Drawing
Struggling to wake up in this 16 field animation drawing is a weary Flit from the Walt Disney animated film Pocahontas. Flit was one of Pocahontas' two pets and was voiced by Frank Welker, a renowned animal and monster voice actor with over 800 character roles including Abu, Max, Pegasus, Cri-Kee, Fred Jones, and Scooby-Doo to name a few. His animation was supervised by longtime character animator David Pruiksma who also supervised characters like Hugo, Victor, the Sultan, Chip, and Mrs. Potts, and his design was inspired by the hummingbird trio from Song of the South. A loyal friend to Pocahontas, he does his best to keep her safe and remains suspicious of strangers for most of the film. The full figure ruby-throated hummingbird is rendered in graphite over a light red colored pencil draft on each page and numbered in the bottom right corner.
In Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear, a few lightly creased corners, minor spots of wrinkling, a total of nine peghole supports, and minor debris.
