A delicate pear-shaped (tokkuri-form) porcelain bud vase created by Sakaida Kakiemon XIII, the celebrated Living National Treasure who, together with his father the 12th generation, revived the lost "nigoshide" milky-white porcelain body technique in the 1950s. This small vase exemplifies the refined Kakiemon aesthetic: a pure, warm-white nigoshide body decorated in the classic iro-e (overglaze enamel) palette of coral red, soft yellow, turquoise, and cobalt blue, depicting chrysanthemum blossoms rising from a rocky garden motif. Twin vermillion bands encircle the foot. The base bears the underglaze blue "柿右衛門" (Kakiemon) mark. The vase retains its original signed wooden storage box, inscribed "十三代酒井田柿右衛門 花瓶" confirming authenticity and provenance. Its narrow mouth and elegant silhouette make it ideal as a single-stem ikebana vase or a refined tea-ceremony accent piece.

艺术家简介
Sakaida Kakiemon XIII (1906–1982) 出生于佐贺县有田市，是第12代柿右衛門之长子。毕业于有田工艺学校陶瓷课程，與父亲共同于1953年成功复兴了历史悠久的“ nigoshide” （米洗白）瓷体，此技艺自江户中期以来便处于休眠。1963年父亲去世后他改名为柿右衛門十三代，1971年柿右衛門风格的 nigoshide 技法被列为重要无形文化财产，柿右衛門十三代作为其传承者，从而获得日本“ Living National Treasure”地位。他还先后获得紫绶褒章（1972）和御璽章（1978）等荣誉，并被誉为在传统相对保守的柿右衛門 repertoire 中引入更自然素描风格的花卉构图。
