This edition, displayed at the ARLES photography meetings, is the first print run of a limited edition of 15 copies in the format.
The photograph coming directly from BEN DAUCHEZ's studio is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity written and signed by the photographer.
About BEN DAUCHEZ:
Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle (France). There he acquired all the basics of photography—from classic technique, shooting, and retouching to laboratory work.
At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to perfect his training by becoming a plate assistant for the Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro.
Ben was able to collaborate with and assist photographers of great talent: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM...
From certain decisive meetings, beautiful projects and long collaborations were born, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry INRI exhibition and its eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel), Peter BEARD (Pirelli calendar 2009 in Botswana).
His photos are published, among others, in Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, WallPapers, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Vogue, Dandy Magazine…
His universe also interests brands with very different identity codes for which he has signed the realization of Institutional and/or advertising campaigns: Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris, or Burger King (advertising rewarded at the Dubai Lynx), PEUGEOT Motorcycles, ...
He has also created numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, Blake Lively…) of beauty, world men (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA...) and travelers...
This photographic path has since allowed him to immortalize the human beauty, aesthetics and spirit of each personality in complete freedom.
