卖家的描述
Introduction
Offered here is a distinctive vintage SEIKO Emblem Automatic Ref. 2409-3050, believed to have been manufactured in September 1975.
One of the key attractions of this model is its high-beat Seiko Calibre 2409 automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This higher-frequency movement reflects Seiko’s technical ambition during the 1970s and adds an important mechanical point of interest for collectors.
Combined with its sharply sculpted rectangular stainless-steel case, silver-toned dial, day-date display and original SEIKO stainless-steel bracelet, the watch has a strong and unmistakable 1970s character.
Historical & Collector Value
The Emblem represents an interesting chapter in Seiko’s history during the 1970s, a period in which the company was developing both advanced mechanical movements and groundbreaking quartz technology.
This example is powered by the Seiko Cal. 2409 high-beat automatic movement, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour / 8 beats per second.
For a vintage mechanical watch of this era, the high-beat specification is an especially appealing feature. A higher oscillation frequency was associated with Seiko’s pursuit of improved stability and precision, and it gives the movement a noticeably smoother seconds-hand motion than many lower-frequency automatic watches of the period.
For collectors, this combination of high-beat mechanical engineering, distinctive 1970s case design, day-date functionality and original SEIKO bracelet gives the 2409-3050 a character beyond that of a conventional vintage dress watch.
The case-back serial number is 592694. Based on Seiko’s serial-number convention together with the known production period of Ref. 2409-3050, this example is believed to date from September 1975.
