正面为国王加冕的半身像，面向左，采用战间期英帝币特有的冷静而精致风格，环绕着记录其皇家及帝国头衔的铭文。背面显示牙买加殖民徽章，作为徽章设计的核心元素，旁有 HALF PENNY 的面额与殖民地名称。该枚在细节保存方面出色，肖像与徽章浮雕清晰，币面相对干净，仍可在略带银灰色光泽的表层下看到原始光泽。可见的极少接触痕迹，属于MS64等级的特征。此发行属于加勒比海地区英国殖民货币体系，是大萧条前经济相对稳定的最后几年中牙买加使用的分币之一。
