A vivid emerald green saturation defines this natural Tsavorite from the Tsavo region of Taita Taveta, Kenya, immediately revealing the intense chromatic character for which the finest examples of this rare Grossular Garnet are admired. The colour remains remarkably energetic throughout the crystal, ranging from saturated emerald green to brighter electric green flashes where light penetrates the more transparent areas.
