English Description

Vintage decorative set in onyx and metal – Ornamental balance, 3 candle holders and ashtray

Elegant and unusual 5-piece vintage decorative set, made of beautiful veined onyx/alabaster in cream, honey and pale green tones, combined with gold- and silver-coloured metal elements.

The main piece is an ornamental table balance, featuring an ornate openwork geometric metal structure, two suspended pans with chains and a prominent central column made of beautifully veined onyx. The matching onyx base completes the composition and displays attractive natural variations in colour and pattern.

The set is completed by three small decorative candle holders, also made of veined onyx and metal, featuring elegant curved handles with scroll decoration. The fifth piece is a small onyx ashtray/bowl standing on decorative metal feet.

The combination of warm-toned onyx and metallic details gives the entire set a refined decorative appearance, suitable for classical, vintage, Art Deco or eclectic interiors.

Overall good vintage condition, considering age. There are normal signs of age, minor scratches, small imperfections and patina to the metal parts, consistent with age and previous use. The onyx features natural veining, colour variations and minor irregularities inherent to the material.
