Authentic Mosasaurus Tooth – Restored Tip – Late Cretaceous
An impressive authentic Mosasaurus tooth from the Late Cretaceous, preserving the powerful morphology characteristic of one of the most formidable marine predators of the prehistoric oceans.
The tooth displays a robust elongated crown with well-defined natural surface texture and fine longitudinal striations. Its warm brown enamel contrasts beautifully with the lighter fossilized root, giving the specimen a strong and highly recognizable appearance.
The tip has been masterfully restored, with the intervention carefully executed to follow the original profile and coloration of the tooth. The restoration is clearly visible on close inspection but integrates very naturally with the preserved fossil material.
The remaining crown retains attractive natural detail and texture, while the substantial root provides the specimen with additional presence and anatomical interest.
A genuine fossil specimen, not a replica, suitable for fossil collectors, natural history displays and cabinets of curiosities.
