This exceptional natural Tourmaline from Minas Gerais is defined by a highly unusual colour architecture in which a pale blue to glacial aqua body encloses a distinct internal pink zone before culminating in a deeply saturated Midnight Blue to Petroleum Blue cap. The resulting structure strongly recalls Watermelon Tourmaline zoning, but replaces the classic green perimeter with blue, creating a far less conventional and particularly striking chromatic arrangement.

The internal pink nucleus remains clearly visible through the transparent blue body and extends through much of the central portion of the crystal. Depending on orientation, the pink shifts between soft rose and lavender pink, while the surrounding blue ranges from icy pale blue to more saturated aqua. Under transmitted illumination, these colours intensify considerably, with the blue developing an almost neon luminosity and the pink becoming brighter and more vivid.

Towards the upper section, the colour changes decisively into a concentrated Midnight Blue cap with Petroleum Blue nuances. This darker terminal zone creates a powerful contrast against the lighter body beneath it and records a clear change in the chemical environment during the later stages of crystal growth. The transition remains beautifully readable from several orientations.
