Description

Charming pair of vintage/antique porcelain half dolls depicting fashionable Art Deco / flapper-style ladies, most likely dating from the 1920s–1930s.

The larger figure measures approximately 8 cm high and is particularly decorative, posed dramatically with one arm raised above her head and the other at her waist. She has black bobbed hair, finely painted facial features and wears a black dress with a pale blue/lilac shawl edged in pink, together with a moulded pink flower at her neck.

The second figure measures approximately 6 cm high and has an elegant elongated pose with one hand raised behind her head. She has short black bobbed hair, orange earrings and necklace, and a beautifully painted lilac/purple dress.

Both have holes around the base for attachment and would originally have been incorporated into pincushions, boudoir accessories or similar decorative pieces.

Measurements: approximately 8 cm and 6 cm high.

Both display very well with attractive original colouring. Please study all photographs carefully for condition and age-related wear, as these form part of the description.
