卖家的描述
Moon meteorite slice with great weight - surface - ratio.
Northeast Africa 104 (NEA 104) - Libya - Lunar meteorite (troctolite melt breccia)
Place : Libya
Date: 2025
Mass (g): 20000
Pieces: several
Class: Lunar (troct. melt breccia)
Shock stage: high
Weathering grade: moderate
Several dark-grayish rocks with some fusion crust were purchased from a dealer in Libya
The meteorite consists of a coarse- and a fine-grained lithology both predominantly composed of anorthosite clasts , olivine aggregates and subordinate Ca-rich pyroxene grains set in abundant plagioclase-rich melt rock matrix. Anorthosite is partly transformend into maskelynite. While parts of the melt are glassy showing some flow textures, other regions are recrystallized to small often lath-shaped plagioclase crystals. Olivine aggregates are mostly composed of numerous subgrains with slightly variable composition. Ca-pyroxene appears to be more common in the coarse-grained lithology. Minor phases include chromite, ilmenite, and kamacite.
0.54 g 16 × 11 × 1.7 mm
Will be shipped with card of authenticity guaranty and a scientifically report from the meteoritical society London
international meteorite collector association number #3503
scale cube is 1 × 1 × 1 cm
