The Seiko 5 has been built on the same five promises since 1963 - automatic winding, day and date in one window, water resistance, a recessed crown and a durable case and bracelet - and the ladies version distils all of it into a case of genuinely wearable size. This example has a silvered dial with applied baton markers, a bilingual day disc and the 21-jewel calibre 4207 beating inside.
