A substantial vintage Nambu Tekki cast-iron lantern ornament made by Iwachu, a renowned Japanese ironware manufacturer based in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture.
The underside bears the cast “岩鋳” Iwachu maker’s mark. Inspired by traditional Japanese lantern forms, the piece features an architectural silhouette, openwork details, a broad circular roof, and a stable decorative base.
