卖家的描述
Max Sauze – Rare Space Age Sculptural Aluminum Pendant Lamp – France, 1960s
Designed in France during the peak of the Space Age movement in the late 1960s, this suspension lamp by Max Sauze is a prime example of French architectural lighting design. Produced by Studio Max Sauze (Ligne Sauze), these creations were conceived as dynamic sculptures lumineuses rather than simple functional lighting fixtures.
The lamp is structured around a steel wire framework that supports four cascading tiers of curved, brushed aluminum slats. The entire piece is crafted using an ingenious interlocking assembly system without visible welds. The curvature of the aluminum sheets acts simultaneously as a light reflector and anti-glare shield, diffusing illumination through staggered geometric gaps and casting captivating patterns of light and shadow.
