A beautiful Japanese colour woodblock print depicting Nanten (Nandina domestica) by Kawarazaki Shodo (1889–1973), a Kyoto-based Japanese-style painter and designer known for his finely detailed botanical and floral woodblock prints.

This work was published by Unsodo (芸艸堂), the renowned Kyoto publisher of Japanese woodblock prints.
The composition presents clusters of pale berries surrounded by detailed green foliage. The restrained botanical composition and delicate carving make this an attractive example of Japanese decorative flower-print tradition.
