during the transition from the Edwardian era to early Art Deco (circa 1916-1917).
This elegant piece showcases exceptional period craftsmanship and carries a wealth of historical documentation stamped directly onto the metal.
Design & Setting: The brooch features a central, step-cut rectangular light pink gemstone (resembling a pink tourmaline or pink sapphire) elegantly housed in a fine millegrain border. It is flanked on top and bottom by two geometric, lozenge-shaped settings, each platinum-topped and set with a delicate antique-cut accent diamond.Hallmarks & Provenance: The reverse of the brooch is fully and crisply hallmarked with a complete set of British stamps:Crown & '18': Guaranteeing solid 18-karat gold purity.
